Capital Reception
A strong bond exists between business and government. They not only co-exist, they are absolutely dependent on each other. In Delaware, we are fortunate to experience such a bond between members of the business community and our legislators. Much is accomplished in the First State in a relational, collaborative way. Business leaders and politicians work together for the common good by working through the questions posed by legislation and the implications that certain laws will have for business in Central Delaware.
Presented by the CDCC Legislative Affairs Committee and typically held in January at the start of the new General Assembly session, this event is designed to provide an opportunity for the CDCC Board of Directors and the Legislative Affairs Committee Members to discuss issues that matter to the business community with newly elected and current Delaware lawmakers.
