The Benefits of Membership…
We can help you get connected to the business community. The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce is the premier business organization that fosters economic growth in Central Delaware. No other local organization is better equipped to provide your company with business and personal networking, communications, important publications and good common sense answers to hard business questions than the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce. Your investment ensures the best quality of life, climate for growth and environment for business in Kent County.

Promoting your business …As a member, the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce promotes your business every day in a multitude of ways at NO ADDITIONAL COST:

  • Legislative Representation The Chamber works hard to represent the business community regarding Legislative matters. The CDCC has a Registered Lobbyist on staff, as well as a Legislative Affairs Committee that reviews proposed legislation and regulations at all levels of government and takes a proactive position to ensure a viable business climate. The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce, as founder and spokesman for the Association of Chambers of Commerce of Delaware (all 15 in the state), provides a united voice on issues that affect business. A unified effort representing over 9000 Chamber members state wide, may be what is needed to make a difference when protecting your interests at the local, state and national level.

  • Economic Development – The Chamber has formed an Economic Development Committee whose purpose is to gather information, address needs, build infrastructure, develop partnerships and identify revenue sources to assist in retention of current businesses and market to new businesses looking to relocate in Central Delaware.

  • US Chamber Membership - The Federation Partnership program provides a U.S. Chamber membership, while growing the pro-business voice. This partnership gives you two memberships for the price of one. There is no additional cost as long as you maintain your membership with the CDCC. This initiative helps develop a larger, unified network of business advocates, giving the business community more leverage to influence policies and policymakers on the issues that matter most. You can take advantage of new benefits available through U.S. Chamber membership, from solutions to help your business more efficiently to grassroots tools and information. Visit their website at www.uschamber.com.
  • Notary Public Service - As a member, this service is provided free of charge. Call the Chamber office (302) 734-7513 to schedule an appointment.

Benefits of Networking ...

  • As a member, you have ongoing opportunities to get connected to other business owners...through the monthly Sunset Business Mixers (which are free to members), Power Networking (which is free to members), Educational Seminars (which are free to members), Leadership Central Delaware (a program of the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce that helps connect emerging leaders of our community) and Special Events and Expos. Meeting others in business, not only will create potential for developing new leads, and valuable business contacts, but the biggest benefit is the resource of talking to other members.

Think about it…the ability to ask others how they handle challenges within their own businesses, or just compare the good and bad of everyday business life.
